Church of the Holy Spirit is participating this year in a fundraising event that is open to non-profit organizations of all kinds. It is called Giving Tuesday. It was started in 2012 as a follow up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Due to the closures involving Covid19, we have faced several challenges at Church of the Holy Spirit concerning operating funds. We have had to downsize our usual rummage sale and we are cancelling the Women’s Christmas Dinner. Even the cash offering collected during Sunday service has suffered. So we have decided to “Pass the Plate ” with this upcoming opportunity called Giving Tuesday.
Our goal is to raise $6,000 on Tuesday, December 1st
We know that many of you have already given above and beyond so we are not trying to tap you again. What we are asking is that you spread the word through your social media platforms. Share our request with your Facebook friends, or forward our email to your contacts.
