Sunday School is a vital part of our church
and youth ministry. We currently have two
classes: approximate ages 4-7, and approximately
8 years and up. We also offer babysitting
in the nursery.
Our teachers instruct on a rotating basis.
In addition, we invite special guests to come
and share about their particular ministries, or
to lead the children and youth in presenting or
participating in special programs, e.g. this
past Christmas worship presentation.
Most
Sundays we have 3-4 young children, and 10-15 in
the older class. Liturgical curriculum is
used, but our teachers do have the flexibility
to teach other topics as the Lord instructs
them.
God has given us the awesome
responsibility in teaching and mentoring our
children and youth, and He has been so faithful
in raising up teachers and leaders !
